Every morning Poughkeepsie resident and WWII Veteran Stuart Vidal posts an American flag on the mailbox in front of his home. After getting the flag in place Stuart steps back and salutes. Today is Stuarts 100th birthday and he had plenty of people on hand to join him in a proud salute of the American Flag. When Stuart stepped out for his daily walk down the driveway he was met by a color guard from the Dutchess County Sheriffs Office, a piper from the Westchester County Emerald Society, and a large group from veterans organizations, local officials and citizens.
